About the market header

The labour market has gone through dramatic changes over the decades due to increasing requirement by employers for relevant past experience of job applicants. These changes are in response to changes in modern business environment and the changing complexity of consumer behaviour.

Universities, colleges, professional institutions and other training institutions have begun to respond to these changes in the global job market by incorporating practical work into their training programmes.

What aggravates the problem is the lack of information flow between employers at one side and job seekers and their training institutions on the other side.

Employers want to recruit and retain the best human capital as part of their strategy.  Some would also like to recruit management trainees or retain graduates who have acquired the requisite experience with them during their internship or placement. However they are constrained with time, expertise and other factors needed to bridge the information gap through a well-established global medium.

Knowing where there are vacancies for internship or placement is the major problem facing students and graduates as well as their academic/professional institutions.
